3. SMS / Text Messaging and Mobile Information

We also follow the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Safeguards Rule and IRS guidance for protecting taxpayer data.
5. How We Share Information

- With Tax Savvy Accountants, of which Rocket Tax Orlando is an office, to provide your services and subject to this policy and Section 7216. SMS opt-in data is never shared for marketing.
6. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, secure document handling, and a written information security plan as the IRS and FTC require. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep tax records and related information for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal and professional requirements (generally at least three years after filing, and longer where the law requires). We keep SMS consent records for as long as you are enrolled and for a reasonable period afterward, to document compliance. When information is no longer needed, we dispose of it securely.
